BARBARA WEITZ lives in a quiet suburb of Chicago with her husband and a young German Shepherd named Max. Although most of her adult life has been spent in a career as an executive secretary, there have been a few part-time jobs that bordered mundane and certainly unusual. These rich experiences, coupled with a passion for kids, animals and music, help shape the fictional characters she creates to pirouette across the blank page.
